Upcoming Conferences

This particular post will be more relevant to those of you who live in the state of Michigan as it highlights the upcoming technology related conferences, workshops and seminars in the Great Lake State. The conferences are listed chronologically and this is certainly not an all-inclusive list so if you have a favorite that you want to tell us about please feel free share.

• Media Literacy Education, What is it?, Mini Conference hosted by the Alliance for a Media Literate America in Detroit, MI. May 30th-June 1st
• ATA Technology Academy in Dearborn, MI provides technology professional development for educator teams. June 18-20th
  
• The Michigan Joint Education Conference in Holt, MI focuses on the integration of instruction across the curriculum. June 25th
• Creating an Online Presence in Your Classroom at UM-Dearborn (facilitated by me) will provide hands-on instruction on using Wikis, blogs, podcasts and a variety of Web 2.0 tools in the k-12 classroom. August 20-21st
  
• Meaningful Play 2008 at Michigan State University in East Lansing will look at the use of educational games and virtual environments in education. October 9-11th
